CASA is a local organization helping children in the child welfare system find safe and loving homes, and it is in need of donations and volunteers.
For this month’s Day of Caring, CBS 21’s Yasmine Cowan spoke with CASA and our sponsor, Renewal by Andersen, to learn more about the need this holiday season.
“Dauphin County CASA has been one of our charity partners for several years now and we are so proud to stand behind what they do and their mission,” said Linda Johnston with Renewal by Andersen. “They create volunteers to be advocates for these kids that are in foster homes and going through the system. They help them get through the court system and find a safe, secure home and I love their mission statement which is ‘together we can change their story’ and they certainly do change their stories.”
